We are Lucy Lozada and Edgar Santillan, a Mexican couple who arrived in Katy, Texas in 2021 with the dream of building a healthier future for our family and our community.

Soon after, we discovered that the water in Texas—because of its high hardness, chlorine content, and minerals—can affect the skin, hair, and even the overall health of the home. Lucy experienced it firsthand: dryness, eczema, and hair loss, until a dermatologist revealed that the cause was the water.

That’s how Arctic16 was born.

Today, we are dedicated to offering whole-home water softening and filtration systems designed to remove chlorine, sediments, and heavy metals such as arsenic, chloroform, and chromium-6, which can affect your skin, hair, and overall well-being. Our systems are high-end, NSF certified, and backed by the Water Quality Association (WQA) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Plus, they require no maintenance for the first several years.
